Hey, I’m Tem,

I design websites for creatives in film, television, and theatre — a niche I’m passionate about, as I’m also a New Zealand film director and script supervisor.

A turning point in my journey into web design happened in 2023 when I decided to combine my love for filmmaking with my interest in web and UI design. This led to the inception of Tempixel Design, a small business specialising in Squarespace websites.

Before that, I spent six years immersed in membership, events, and marketing at the Directors and Editors Guild of Aotearoa NZ (DEGANZ). I loved supporting my local screen industry.

During this time, I accomplished a major membership software upgrade and served as the caretaker for the Guild’s WordPress site. Late nights often found me tinkering with WordPress, exploring ways to enhance the site’s design and user interaction.

In 2023, Squarespace caught my eye, offering a streamlined alternative to WordPress. I’ve since become immersed in the ins and outs of Squarespace and become a Circle Gold Partner ↗.
