Summary
Charlotte Evans came to Tempixel hoping to refresh her existing directing portfolio with a design that better reflected her as a filmmaker.
The challenge was working out in prep how much of the website could be re-designed in a single Superpixel day. I recommended that we first update her website from Squarespace 7.0 to the latest version 7.1. That way she could unlock the newer and easier-to-use features of Fluid Engine, while keeping her legacy billing plan, SEO, and existing asset library for 30+ projects (a real time saver!).
Although Charlotte didn’t know what she wanted at the start of the project, asking her to create a Pinterest mood board in prep, quickly uncovered her stylistic taste in colours, typography and layouts. From there, redesigning her 4-page site in one intensive design day was a straightforward process!
